Stephen's friends in North and South Carolina held a roadside memorial today on the 1-month anniversary of his death. It was really nice. They did a balloon send-off, where they wrote messages on cards tied to balloons and let them go. They put a cross at the side of the road where the accident happened. The cross is hollow, so the boys put some of Stephen's ashes inside. They planted flowers around his cross.

If you watch this video, about 17 seconds into it, you get to see from the driver's point of view, what she would have seen, sitting exactly where her car was sitting about to come out and turn left. Stephen was coming from her left around that curve in the distance.
